About the Miller Center • Circle of Friends
In 1934, Edith J.R. Isaacs wrote for Theatre Arts magazine:
“It [a theater] must have the power of growth, of progress, both in its permanent and its impermanent factors, because times change and it must change with them. It must bear within itself, the power of generation, the element of renewal, a force that, having flowed out of its own inner strength and integrity, can bring back fresh strength from a newer, younger world.”
The Jefferson City Public Schools is proud to own and maintain the wonderfully renovated Etta and Joseph Miller Performing Arts Center. We need your help to maintain the spirit of renewal. It is in this spirit of renewal that we have created the Miller Center Circle of Friends. While this facility provides a beautiful, innovative and safe environment where they can pursue the arts, we must also continuously improve it as the world of the arts change and grow. Your tax deductible contribution to the Miller Center Circle of Friends will allow all who use and enjoy the Miller Center to know that it is constantly being upgraded as funding allows.
